GMAT
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is administer to potential MBA students. It consists of three main parts, the Analytical Writing Assessment, Quantitative section, and Verbal section.
The exam is scored on a scale of 200-800 points. The GMAC, who writes the exams claims that the test helps to predict performance in the first year or midway through a graduate management program.
If you are thinking about applying to Business school for an MBA, take this test first, since graduate programs heavily weigh these exams for admissions. The test is administered several times a year around the world, and its cost $200 each time. You cannot bring anything with you to this test, they will supply you with scrap paper and a pencil. The exam is administered on a computer and results for everything except the writing as available at the end of the test. You can cancel your score, but you must do this before you decide to see your test score at the end of the test.
The GMAT is sometimes required for online MBA programs and distance learners.
