SAT II- Subject Tests
Subject tests measure your knowledge and the ability to apply that knowledge in English, history, math, sciences, and foreign languages. Some colleges, particularly ones that are highly selective, require students to take one or more of these tests, in addition to the SAT, for admissions and or placements in freshman-level courses. You should check your college for more information. Many schools do not require these exams, though if you do require them, its not unusual for them to require 2-3 of them upon application to the school.
The SAT II is generally not required for online degrees or distance learning.
