Education (programs leading to initial teacher licensure)
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (5-8 or 5-12). Prepares students
for secondary teacher licensure in middle school and/or high school mathematics.
Bachelor's Degree in Science (5-8 or 5-12). Prepares students
for secondary teacher licensure in middle school general science or high school
integrated science.
Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Preparation Program, Mathematics (5-12).
Qualifies those who wish to teach middle school and/or high school mathematics
to be licensed.
Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Preparation Program, Science (5-12).
Qualifies those who wish to teach middle school and/or high school science to
be licensed.
Master's Degree in Teaching, Mathematics (5-12). Combines
preparation for teacher licensure in middle school and/or high school mathematics
with additional education to earn a master's degree.
Master's Degree in Teaching, Science (5-12). Combines preparation
for teacher licensure in middle school and/or high school science with additional
education to earn a master's degree.
Education (programs for already-certified teachers)
Master of Education. A master's degree for all educators,
covering basic areas of instructional design, research, evaluation and measurement,
management, and use of technology in the classroom.
Master's Degree in Learning and Technology. A master's degree
for all educators, with an emphasis on using technology in the classroom.
Master's Degree in Mathematics Education (K-6, 5-8, or 5-12).
A master's degree that prepares teachers to certify in mathematics, a high demand
second teaching field, or, at the elementary level, to complete a professional
development program in K-6 mathematics.
Master's Degree in Science Education (5-8 or 5-12). A master's
degree that allows teachers to certify in science, a high demand second teaching
field.
Second Teaching Field, Mathematics (5-8 or 5-12). Qualifies
those who are teaching or wish to teach middle school and/or high school mathematics.

Masters in Education
M.Ed. Elementary Education
The program is also appropriate for teachers wishing to update their application
of contemporary methodology.
M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction. Emphasis on Reading
This online program is designed for teachers that wish to learn how to better
combine curriculum, instruction, and assessments to improve the reading abilities
of their students.
M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction Emphasis on Technology
This online program that is designed for teachers that wish to learn how to
better combine technology with curriculum, instruction, and assessments to improve
the success of their students.
M.Ed. in Educational and Administration
This program is designed for educators that wish to improve student achievement
and educational equity throughout the world by building their knowledge and
skills using the principles of effective schools and educational leadership
articulated by Dr. Douglas Reeves, and other leading researchers and thinkers
in the field.
M.Ed. in Special Education
This program is designed for individuals with a bachelor's degree who are seeking
initial teacher certification in secondary education.
Masters of Art in Teaching (MAT)
This degree program designed to provide preservice teachers with a solid theoretical
framework in pedagogy as well as academic breadth and depth in their subject
